The Management Team and their staff are all committed to delivering the quality service that serves as the foundation of Home Care for Maine.



Dawn Palmer

Dawn Palmer began working in Human Resources over 20 years ago in the non-profit residential, education and day treatment sectors and most recently in the food manufacturing industry. Dawn has a strong background in management, with an emphasis on recruitment, retention, training and marketing.

A graduate of Thomas College with a BS in Marketing Management and a Masters of Business Administration, Dawn is also a certified Human Resources professional holding her SHRM-CP (Certified Professional) and PHR (Professional in Human Resources) certificates. Dawn is an accomplished professional who enjoys team building, coaching, problem solving and all facets of business operations. She strives to maintain a work environment for our employees that encompasses integrity, happiness & passion and humility; while as an organization we strive to provide services to our consumers with consistent, compassionate care that preserves dignity and enhances independence.

Angela has been working with Home Care for Maine for over 5 years as a member of management and overseeing the finance department. Her prior experience consists of several years working for the State of Maine and in the banking industry. She was born and raised in Maine and enjoys spending time with her family.

Mary Margaret

Personal Support Specialist Team Supervisor

Mary Margaret recently joined Home Care for Maine as the PSS Team Supervisor.  She loves to organize and find creative ways to problem solve, help meet people’s needs and understand their value, and bring a sense of calm to the chaos that comes in life. Her passions include her 5 children, 7 grandchildren, family, friends, her faith and music.



Amy Morissette

Amy Morissette recently joined the Home Care for Maine HR team as the Recruiter for both Direct Care Workers and administrative staff.  Amy comes to us with over a decade of HR and Operations experience, most recently as the HR Manager for a local non-profit.  She is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine, with a BA in Communication.  Amy understands the demand for direct care workers in Maine and has hit the ground running in developing strategies to meet this growing need.   We’re delighted to have her on board!
