Currently Home Care for Maine has no PSS classes scheduled. Currently all PSS classes are done on-line with 1 day of in class final exam
re-demonstration at the end. These classes are being held in Waterville the 2nd Monday of each month, Portland the 4th Monday of each month, Presque Isle the 1st month of every other month starting in February 2010. There will be a class in Presque Isle on 12/14/09 then not another one in that area until Monday February 1, 2010. Bangor classes will be held only when a need in that area may arise. There will be one in Bangor on 12/21/09 and no other is currently scheduled for that area. You need to make sure that your on-line portion of the class is done 1 week prior to the in class final exam re-demonstration being held. Remember that slots fill up quickly as it's not just HCM employees attending these classes.

HCM will pay mileage after 20 miles (round trip) Example: you drove 75 miles to and from the course you will be reimbursed 55 miles. You do not get paid to attend any portion of the course, HCM pays the cost of the course.
